Absolutely my favourite anime (female) character EVER. When I was 12 years old I wanted to be exactly like her, including her military ranks. They say 'be careful what you wish for’, as I grew up to be an adult almost entirely like her : quite an awkward person with a messy flat, can’t cook very well and living (almost) entirely on beer. But hey, at least she still is gorgeous.

jumper – sh
corset – H&M
skirt – ??
shoes – Deichmann
weird hat – H&M, I got it for free with some other shopping

I do spend a lot of time with Neon Genesis Evangelion lately, as it is going to be the case study for the last essay this year. The topic: 'What is aesthetically and cultural distinctive about Japanese animation? answer in relation to particular animator or anime’. So, here, I’m studying 😀

To all the lovely people who gave me awards – THANKS! I promise to pass them on sometime…soon.
Also, Benzo took some great pictures lately, but he seems to be too busy to edit them. Hard times.

Now, unless you are an anime fan, just skip the rest of the post. Sorry 🙂

Misato is definitely a queen of an awkward kiss. Below with the wonderful, one and only Kaji (definitely my ABSOLUTELY favourite anime character EVER):

8mins 11sec

4mins 48sec

And the most uncomfortable scene in Evangelion as a whole, I guess, Misato kissing Shinji, 15 years old her minor. But she knew for sure they are seeing each other for the last time as she was already bleeding to death and he was most probably going to day anyway, so what the heck.
