As I mentioned ages ago, I got hold of quite a few of my gradmother’s old pictures. She was really so stylish and pretty that I can be only jealous.
The fun thing is that when I showed her the comments to the previous post about her, she was very surprised that anyone would be interested in how she used to look like in the 1950s and 60s. More than that, she was wondering why would I feature her on a fashion blog as she never had money for fashionable outfits when she was young.
But here she is, looking like one of those larger than life Disney female wonders. However,I do not recognize these dodgy men 🙂
Also, here are the pictures for her 'happily ever after’ (or for 20 years, my grandfather died in his fourties, an event of the terrible consequence for my closest family):

Aww, money or not, she was indeed very stylish. I’m assuming that she used to saw a lot of her own outfits, so I’m sure she must have been great at that 🙂

Ariella, I actually don’t remember my grandma ever sewing. She is the best cook in the world, but I don’t think she sew (unlike my mum, quite talented here, but again she is quite talented in most of aspects). Maybe it was her stepmother or some aunt that made her outfits. I have some more nice pictures, but I’m waiting for nice occasion to put them up.

miss large, babcia to w ogóle dziadka poznała jak miała 12 lat. ale owszem, już wtedy nosił mundur, był harcerzem i zapytał się babci o drogę 😛
