Can I play with madness?

I told my boyfriend lately that if it was back in the day when he was young, I would gladly do ‘that guy from Iron Maiden’. Funnily enough, he was furious not because I said that about some other guy, but because I didn’t know he was Bruce Dickinson. I probably did and forgot, but it doesn’t really matter as I think the fact that I listen to ‘Dance of Death’ EVERY SINGLE DAY says something more about me being a fan than knowing Bruce’s name 😀

I do like how I sometimes surprise those people who judge the book by its cover and while they’re asking me what music I like I mention Iron Maiden as one of my favourite bands. I may wear heels and short skirts but it doesn’t mean I am not a brutal and metal lass. In fact, I am epically BRUTAL.

So today for inspiration we go to Bruce Dickinson (who would make such a cool dad, being a rock star, a novelist and…an airline pilot!)…

…Dethklok, whom I love more than anything (check out the TV series called 'Metalocalypse’)…

…and, surprisingly, Styledigger. I did remember she once wore that kind of shirt, but I had no idea that my new super-duper heels from Deichmann are gonna resemble her sandals. Which makes me quite annoyed. And BRUTAL!

I know that my shirt is Blind Guardian and not Iron Maiden, but hey, I like Blind Guardian and also they are an amazing copy of the Irons. Pretty much like mine and Styledigger’s shoes 😀

sweater – sh
Blind Guardian shirt – a birthday gift from friends when we were still in junior high
belt – Calvin Klein (!!), secondhand
shorts – Primark
tights – can’t remember
shoes – Deichmann

Oh yes, I’d forget to mention my marvellous belt, which I got for about a pound/less than two dollars/cztery złote and it’s original Calvin Klein!!!
